1.       Springfield, Massachusetts

If you’re looking to add some thrill to your day, head over to Six Flags, New England’s biggest and most popular amusement park. Get your adrenaline rushing on the award winning Bizzaro, or get your caricature sketched at one of the kiosks. You won’t want to miss Fright Fest, one of this park’s biggest events with over 20 frightful things to experience, which occurs on select nights from the end of September until Halloween.

If you love fairs, you’ll love the Big E! This New England fair is held annually in West Springfield, and is the only Six-State fair in America. Visit the petting zoo, watch the daily Mardi Gras parade or ride the ferris wheel. Western Massachusetts is also known for its breathtaking fall foliage. Take a guided tour or explore the amazing views on your own. Enjoy an afternoon stroll through Forest Park to take the kids to the park’s petting zoo.
