Jan leads the operations of 15 Buffalo Lodging properties throughout the Southeast region, with a strong focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences and upholding the highest standards of quality, service, and efficiency. His role includes guiding property-level teams, ensuring brand compliance, managing budgets, optimizing performance, and driving guest satisfaction across all hotels under his leadership.

Jan brings over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked his way up from the ground floor. He began his career as a room attendant and quickly advanced through roles such as night auditor, PM front desk, and AM front desk agent. In 2005, Jan relocated to Orlando and joined Buffalo Lodging as Executive Housekeeper for the Sleep Inn and Comfort Suites. Within two years, he was promoted to General Manager at Comfort Suites and later transitioned to lead the Homewood Suites as General Manager.

Jan’s career continued to progress as he took on roles such as Area General Manager and District Director. In 2022, he was promoted to Regional Director of Operations, overseeing seven hotels across Florida and Ohio. Within three years, he advanced to his current role as Regional Vice President of Operations for the Southeast region, as well as three managed properties. His leadership has been recognized with several industry honors, including three consecutive Platinum Awards for ranking in the top 5% of the brand, along with a Gold Award for outstanding service.

Outside of work, Jan enjoys traveling with his wife, exploring other countries, and experiencing their unique food and culture.
