William Hines has worked in the hospitality industry for the past 25 years. His experience includes an extensive background in hotel management including operations, development, accounting and finance.

Prior to working for Buffalo Lodging Associates, Mr. Hines spent eight years with Marriott International where he held the positions of Vice President of Development Asset Management for International Lodging, and Vice President of Finance for the Northeast Region of North America Lodging. From 1983 to 1998, Mr. Hines held similar positions in both North America and in the International arena with ITT Sheraton Corporation in Boston.

As Buffalo Lodging Associate’s Vice President of Northeast Operations, Mr. Hines is responsible for the oversight of a growing portfolio of hotels encompassing the Hilton, Marriott and Starwood brands. His duties include managing the operations, sales and marketing, revenue management, personnel and engineering functions of his hotels, with the objective of delivering exceptional customer service and financial returns. He also works on the development and integration of new properties as they are added to the Buffalo Lodging portfolio.

Prior to his career in the hotel industry he worked in the manufacturing and public accounting sectors.  A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Hines has utilized his accounting, finance and general business background throughout his career.
